Minor Projects (3-6 Months)
The minor biotech projects are usually opted by the students of B.Sc./B.tech (2nd year) or passouts. In the minor project, the first 15-20 days are dedicated to giving complete hands-on training to the students to make them skilled enough so that they can carry on the research work themselves.
Major Projects (7-12 Months)
The major biotech projects are usually opted by the students of M.Sc./B.tech (3rd & 4th year) or passouts. in the major project rest of one month is dedicated to a thorough brush-up of the basic skills & training of the techniques involved in the research project. Then the research interns are handed over an independent research title to work on.

This project program provides comprehensive hands-on training in key areas of life sciences, including industrial microbiology, food microbiology, molecular biology, fermentation technology, food technology, bioinformatics and basic forensic applications. Students will gain practical experience in essential laboratory techniques such as microbial culturing and characterization, staining and biochemical analysis, DNA isolation, PCR, and gel electrophoresis, along with an introduction to fermentation processes and analytical methods. The program follows an integrated approach, combining classical and modern techniques to enhance understanding of biological systems at both cellular and molecular levels. Emphasis is placed on developing laboratory skills, data interpretation, and awareness of real-world applications in research and industry. Designed to be flexible and skill-oriented, the program is suitable for learners at different academic levels and can be adapted for both short-term projects and extended long term research projects.
